David said something in the Psalms that explained why he praised even in the midst of pain, why he was grateful even in the midst of gloom, and worshipped when circumstances dictated that he should worry: MY HELP COMETH FROM THE LORD (Psalms 121:2)! As Believers, when our hearts and minds truly grasp ahold of this seemingly simple yet profound statement it helps us to respond to adversity similarly to what David did! Keeping our focus on God and having a God perspective in the midst of problems puts us in a powerful position to overcome whatever those problems are. Today, no matter what problem youre facing, Believer I want to encourage you to remind yourself that your help cometh from the Lord! Be and stay encouraged! Now go on and bless His name! He is a very present help! # In spite of my feelings, in spite of my circumstances; Im going to be like David and bless the Lord!
