David van Vuuren has for many years and always will be such an inspiration to me. He doesnt care what society expects of him and stands down for no one. One of the few who questioned the idols competition for their manufacturing of ready-made, family friendly pop stars who ultimately lose their identity through the course of the competition. He along with my other role model Francois Van Coke, often remind me that you should always put one finger in the air to those who want to change you to suit society or their ideals. Even though its often hard to let go of what you think people may think of you these two men are a constant reminder to me to be me and f#*K the rest. So before you judge someone based on the name of their band or alternative style and music get some insight into the people they are and the journeys they have led, and even if you do judge them the awesome thing is they probably wouldnt even care These 2 men really are my heroes
