Davids log 191410052014: Just left my mama. It was a good visit. Most of the time when I visit her she looks at me and I can see she is trying to remember who I am. She knows Im someone significant. She never called me by name, but she was on tonight. Or more on than she normally is. I always tell her where Ive been and what others in the family are doing. I told her again about Frank being a grandfather. That when he can get away he heads south to visit. I asked her if she remembered how Frank was such a strict father in the beginning. How he wouldnt let her buy things and try to spoil his babies. I said I wonder if hell listen to Alyssa if she says no spoiling. Or will Eden wrap him around her fingers and hell spoil her rotten. She lit up. Thats his first! He doesnt have a choice. The first one ruins you. Surprised, I talked as much as I possibly could, fanning the flames. Sadly our conversation didnt last long at all. I needed to do so much today, but I am still run down from my most recent trip to Plainview, Texas. I was being called to bed, but i have missed coming for a couple weeks now and I had no choice. Im glad I did. I told her about my nephew buying a washer and dryer and needed help getting it in. Those things these days are nearly all plastic. When we pulled up his two youngest babies ran to me and hugged me tight. Uncle daday! My Lord, how long has it been since I visited these babies. I live less than a mile away. As I got up to leave I hugged her and told her I loved her.i love you too, she said. And Im glad you came by. Omg. Today is some kind of hard. I miss my mama. I miss my pop. What happened to yesterday? Those of you with your parents still with you, cherish them. Call and then go see them. Family. Its the only thing we have.
