The Safe Roads Act created the Oregon Driver Card, a 4-year driving permit which would allow all Oregon residents to get tested and insured to drive regardless of #citizenship status. Causa wants Oregon to take a closer look at the real people this legislation would affect. From July 25th, every day at noon until Election Day we will post a portrait and a story about an Oregonian who has been affected by the barriers of not being able to drive licensed and insured. We want #Oregonians to meet the people who have been living and working in Oregon without a license and without an identity. Our hope is that you can meet these hard working Oregonians and connect it to your own story. This fight for the Driver Card is more than a measure to many people, its their livelihood.
