Day 1: There is a pervasive smell of kim-chi and garbage in the air and entrepeneurialship is in my face around every corner. Sign makers must make a killing here. South Koreans are polite to a fault and red stop lights seem more of a suggestion, than an order to halt. Crosswalks are a lesson in survival of the smartest--dont be first and dont be last. My brother and I enjoyed a day of eating, shopping, and freezing as the day started with rain and ended with snow flurries.
