Day 1: Todays the start of November. The start of a month when we count our blessings and give thanks to the Lord for all that he has provided us with. But many times we forget that the best blessings come through some of the hardest trials and tribulations. Its often hard for us to see the rainbow through the raindrops. But God has always promised that he will not leave us or forsake us as long as we put our trust in him through the good times and the bad. Take time to listen to Laura Storys Blessings, which she wrote in a time when her husband was going through the trial of a brain tumor. They wanted God to just fix everything right then. But she felt God grabbing the hand she was shaking at him and said Laura, release it to my hands. Ive been faithful and now just because you dont understand what Im doing, youre starting to doubt me? She wrote this song when she realized that because of her husbands tumor, she was able to spend more time with her husband which is what made her happy and a better person. God is always worthy of our praise, even when we dont feel like it. Thats something I always find myself working on. But this song is always a reminder that the blessing is there. We just need to listen.
