***Day 1 of 12 days to Christmas!!*** This video is particularly fitting for our first day on the countdown to Christmas as Mountain Climbers have featured pretty heavily in all my bootcamp and ME classes this week! Mountain Climbers are excellent for working the entire body; the legs need to pump explosively to push the knees into the chest and the core muscles and upper body need to stay strong in order to maintain balance! Get the technique right and you have a multi-joint, multi-muscle activating exercise! * adopt a full plank position with shoulders over hands, core engaged and legs long * drive alternate knees in towards the chest whilst keeping the shoulders front loaded and core tight * push as fast as you can, or go super slow to beast the core! I hope my classes are feeling the benefits of this amazing exercise tonight!! And thanks to my model!
