Day 1: (officially) Pre Shine Rehearsal Day After coffee and breakfast in our room, we headed to the convention center to get signed in for the pre shine rehearsal. I got checked in, got my name tag, and we went to sit in the HUGE ballroom. I could not believe how many people were there, and they just kept coming! I am used to our Atlanta HUB group, but this was everyone from all 5 HUBS. It was neat to meet some new faces and learn from some new coaches from different HUBS. After an introduction and prayer, we began our day of rehearsing. I began with Scene Read and Singing. Both went very well. The singing coach suggested that I use a head set instead of a hand held mike so I could use my hands more. Didnt know that was an option so I agreed. Then, we had a quick lunch break (sandwich in the room) before heading back. In the afternoon, I worked on TV Presenter, On Camera, and Photography. I got all good feedback. We ended with a huge prayer circle before ending the day. Then, Jeremy and I went to Wreckers sports bar for dinner (he loves this place because it has a wall size TV!) before heading back to the room. We face timed the boys and then headed to flash mob practice at 8. It was so fun, and going great, but my foot began to get sore and start to swell so I had to quit early. Oh well, would much rather be able to walk tomorrow! About to iron clothes for tomorrow and get ready for the first day of SHINE! Tomorrows showcase is On Camera where I will be performing my monologue. Goodnight all!
