Day 1 without Rambo. Not gonna lie, we are all missing him. Lucy is looking for him and waiting for him to come in the door. Emotionally exhausted, I took a nap today. While I was asleep a Monarch butterfly flew into the sunroom through the sliding door we always keep open for Rambo and Lucy. Bernie J Dallum and the boys watched it come to rest in a corner on the wall. It stayed on the wall for a while. They left the room and when they came back the butterfly was still there. Bernie turned off the fan and gently helped the butterfly find its way back out the door. I want to believe that this is a sign that Rambos telling us that its OK. We had planned to go to the lake today and to cheer up the boys I told them we could go for a walk and look for monarch caterpillars. The butterfly came to us instead.
