Day 10, Climate Change Convention Negotiations, Lima, Peru. The ADP takes centre stage at climate change fest. There has been a great deal of focus on the work being carried out under the ADP as 2015 being around the corner to conclude the deal. The Cook Islands are following the talks on the ADP. The ADP was officially supposed to close on 11 December (day 10). However, it is expected that as happened with previous COP sessions, Lima talks too might stretch into overtime. The Ad hoc Working Group on the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action (ADP) is a subsidiary body under the Climate Change Convention. It was established to develop a protocol, another legal instrument or an agreed outcome with legal force under the Convention applicable to all Parties. The ADP has until 2015 to adopt this protocol, legal instrument or agreed outcome with legal force, which is intended to come into effect and be implemented from 2020.
