Day 10: They Were Not Only Gathered, But ‘Listening’ - John 5:24-30 Cornelius was a man under authority, and listening to directions and hearing effectively was one of his professional attributes. A major element of people finding faith in Christ is the opportunity to hear the message of the Gospel. So when praying, look out for any event at which the church gathers and ask God to make it possible for the non-believing members of your family to attend and hear what is being said about Jesus. May God give you wisdom and courage! Prayer:Lord God, please help me to pray for my relatives with sensitivity towards Gospel opportunities. No matter how informal or formal the gathering might be – a service, a barbeque, a get-together in someone’s home, Lord please use these opportunities to bring people closer to You. Amen.
