Day 10: Update on Daddy: Another blessed day!! Daddy is going beyond our expectations and proving how strong and determined he is. Yesterday he spent 2 hours in his turtle shell ( hard plastic cast) and THAT was tough! We were told he would probably take it slower today and maybe keep it on for an hour...... He kept it on all day!!!! Amazing, just amazing!!! He was just as responsive to us today and we cherish the sweet moments we have with him. We have learned we arent very good at reading lips though! Dorie Ann read The Woodville Republican to him so that he can stay informed. I cant tell you how absolutely adorable my Daddy is when he makes faces of approval and disapproval. We had quite a few laughs today. We are so very thankful that you are praying specifically for his comfort and protection from infection and pneumonia. God has a special hedge around him!!!! Your dedication to prayer is quite humbling and my heart is overwhelmed!!! 1 Chronicles 16:8-10 8 Oh give thanks to the LORD; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples! 9 Sing to him; sing praises to him; tell of all his wondrous works! 10 Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice!
