Day 11 of 21 :: Extend Your Vision, Serving and Leadership. Now that you’ve written your vision down, let’s think about the vision of leadership growth this year at our church. There are similarities between the story of our church and the story of Moses. When we look at his life, we see quite a bit of his humanity. We know that Moses wasn’t a perfect leader, neither are any of the leaders at our church. We’re all still learning, still growing, still figuring a lot of things out, and trying to be the person we want to be. Our church is not the perfect church as you probably have already found out. Youve probably already found weaknesses and flaws at our church. But, if theres one thing that can be said of Moses, it was that he knew God had called him. God has called you to serve at our church. Today pray for the area in which you serve or lead in church. If you do not currently serve at our church, pray about where the Lord is leading you to get started as you help our church by using your gifts and talents (feel free to reply to this post to let us know if you want to begin serving at our church and where). Write down your vision and goals for you as a leader who serves at our church. Today, think and pray for not only what you do to serve and how you do it, but to also be used in a greater way as your focus on servanthood this year. Also, pray for the others that lead and serve at our church.
