Day 12 Evening Update on Carley Caudle Ezelle- Started the day off with 2 units of blood, but this is to be expected with the Plasmapheresis treatments. The treatment went good again today. She has had a good, restful day. She has been blessed to have some awesome physicians working to diagnosis and now to treat her. Two of these are now her primary care doctors. Dr. Abbott, her Rheumatologist, who upon seeing how sick she was on Nov 12th, immediately had her admitted and started the testing and calling in other doctors to find a diagnosis. He has shown so much compassion for her. We feel blessed to have him caring for her. The other Doctor is Dr. Lyerly, her Nephrologist, is the doctor, who once the diagnosis was found, was the one who aggressively and swiftly started the treatments to stop and repair any further damage to her kidneys and also to rid her body of the anit-GBM antibodies that are causing the Good Pastures Syndrome. The blood to check this was drawn this morning and we will have results on Wednesday. We need to pray for a significant drop in the numbers or even better a NEGATIVE number. Once she achieves this, she will be able to stop Plasmapheresis and GO HOME. Please continue to pray. Philippians 4:4-7
