Day 12 of NaNoWriMo: What happened to day 11, you ask? It was a wash. You know those hairstyles I spent three hours looking at? I got a hair cut. Then I did a little shopping with mom. After that, it was more of the same. You know. Getting distracted by this and that. Taking care of a sick pup for the third day in a row. Being completely exhausted and falling asleep in the middle of Sleepy Hollow (oh, the irony). Today I broke 2000 works and am still plugging along. Its taking a lot of discussion with my consultant (aka my husband) because there is a lot of police procedure involved. I present the scenario and we work out the details. My job doesnt have nearly as much action as his, so I need his experiences to fill in the blanks. The name of my novel is Thirteen Bullets, if I havent mentioned it before, and the premise is something I havent tackled in the past. I may not win NaNo this year, but I think this might be one of my favorite stories to write so far.
