Day 120 - 124 So we have enjoyed 2 weeks home thus far and it has been awesome!! we had her last part of round three last Wednesday, Nov. 12th, it went well. we talked to the doctor about dates and we start round 4 this coming Wed. we should be home either Saturday if they agree to let us come home on the weekend or Monday. meaning Oh yeah.. Thanksgiving is being spent home!!!! Then we continue round 4 the first of Dec. and we should be back home on the 20th at the latest.. we can hope. Positive thinking!!! So yesterday I was lividly upset! we had ran out of Emis Heprin. ( it what we use to flush her lines, Ill explain it the same way I explain it to my younger sister, her tubes are like a hose that you need to flush daily, heprin is medicine in a syringe like the one you use to give medicine orally to kids that is able to connects to her tubes, heprin is medicine that keeps the tubes clean/ open so they dont get an infection or clog) Well, since I had run out and I have to flush it daily, I had called the home care service we use the day before , and they first said they had tried contacting me before hand and that wasnt true, but it didnt matter because regardless I was out so I just needed the medicen ASAP, they said they could set up a delivery for Monday and i insisted that i needed it by latest Saturday since Ill need to flush her lines to prevent an infection, which we had just recovered from. well after a bit of insisting they set it up. Saturday came along and after waiting all day, around 5 I started calling the company because it had been more than 24 hours since I had flushed her lines, they said they would get back to me and that they close at 5:30 I received no call so I decided to call back 5 minutes till close and they said again they would call me back once they heard back from their delivery service, I waited and no call back, EVER!!! 9 oclock rolled up and the medicine arrived. I was so excited, opened the package to finally flush her line, let me tell you I opened that package and it wasnt her medicine... they sent us someones elses medicine, not only that but the receipt in the package had all of the personal information to whom every the medicine actually belonged too... meaning someone else received our medicine and information... we proceeded by calling the hospital to first take care of our priority flushing Emis line to prevent an infection... they said the company should have a 24 hour line and if they dont then call back... so we called the 24 hour line and talked to the pharmacist and they sent us her right meds this morning we received it and he lines got flushed 48 hours later... let me tell you I am still very highly upset... on a better note we received Emis birthday pictures today :) how exciting!!! she doesnt look her normal happy self but her party was the day before we took her to the er for her double infection... regardless they are beautiful she is beautiful!!! we are honestly so blessed to be her parents she is amazing!!! were excited to start round for regardless of the dates, honestly it just means one round less, one closer to the end of this long journey to recovery... Thank you all for the amazing support thus far, all the amazing words of encouragement... We are so grateful for everything everyone does... I wish you guys the best week... #PrayForEmi Donation----> https://crowdrise/PrayForEmi/fundraiser/jamescarransa
