Day 13: I am so thankful for the spouses of my children. Keepers all! Each one seems to have married their perfect partner. Katy found her knight in shining armor in Carl Putnam--and he holds the distinction of being the ONLY son-in-love, so of course he IS the favorite! Jamie, my preacher son, married a precious girl, Tiffany Burns who is so supportive and so in tune with him...plus she can manage money which Jamie absolutely canNOT, lol. Luke, my hunter/fisherman/trapper kid, married Jennifer, who rivals him for love of the sport...and she bested him this year: he killed a deer on opening day at a hunting lease. Two days later she got up early for a bathroom call, stopped by the back door to glance at their deer feeder, saw a buck, shot a buck, and with more mass and spread than Lukes! ha ha Now whos the mighty hunter in that family!? Mark caught Kristi Phillips in 1999, the first to wed. She is his perfect match because Marks theme song is Oh, lord, its hard to be humble... and Kristis is, How did I catch such a wonderful man! (and no, that isnt a real song, but I couldnt think of one sappy enough to fit!) Matt and Leann Stonestreet Phillips didnt even LIKE each other when they first met, but she soon became his best friend. She is loyal, funny and has also become one of my best friends! I love all of these girls and my one guy. They are all terrific parents too, but most of all they are people I truly can say I love!
