Day 14 of thanksgiving: Today I am thankful for the way my child views me. He doesnt treat me like an old woman who has lost her mind (like most teens) and he answers me with respect. I cant remember the last time he went to bed without exchanging and I love you with me and will even tell me to have a good day when he gets out of the car at school every morning. Although I get a little weary hearing mom, mom, mom over and over....I secretly love that he feels like sharing. I was not the youngest mom when he came into this world. After being married for 16 years, we were blessed with a bundle that has certainly brought me many years of happiness and joy. As one of the old moms in the group of mothers of his classmates, I feel honored that he still isnt ashamed to be seen with me. (I know..its coming.) But today, I am thankful for my child and how he sees me. Thank you Lord for your Blessings on me! :)
