Day 14 – 11 Days Until Christmas, Decadent Dessert. During the holidays, dessert can be used to make a meal extra special. It can be a comfort food when cozying up to watch a favorite holiday movie or a treat that you grab at the end of a fun night out. Food, much like music, can create memories that last a life time. One of my favorite desserts came from a wonderful aunt of mine. She actually always served it on Easter but we loved it so much, we started making it a staple dessert in our Christmas meal … and now, even if we make it during the year, I can’t help but think of these holidays and all of the fun times we have shared with family and friends. So if want to try a new sweet treat this holiday season, I highly recommend this recipe for “Drumstick Squares”. They are easy to make, incredibly delicious and left overs can easily be put back into the freezer until needed (but there won’t be any leftovers, they really are that good).
