Day 140: 12/23 A HUGE thank you to Team #JuCan who showed up and showed out BETTER THAN EVER this year for the 3rd Annual JuCan Give Toy Drive! It was an incredible year for toy donations to the MD Anderson Childrens Cancer Hospital and I just know Ju herself had a hand in this! We went from 300 toy donations our first year with Ju herself, to 3 drop off locations last year (1,000 toys) to this year with 10 drop off locations and an approximate donation of 3,000 TOYS!!! It was simply incredible to wake up in Colorado Springs to a FaceTime call from Quinn at MD Anderson hauling in truckloads of toys with Team JuCan on-site! Our delivery team consisted of Abacus Plumbing & A/C, Home Depot and Laine Santamaria and it was a bright and early day of drop off at 8:30 AM so that the MD Anderson crew could get them set up in Santas Workshop in time for today. TODAY is the day that parents of patients will go shopping in the Workshop and pick out toys for their kids (all free to families). These toys are magically delivered to the childrens rooms on Christmas morning from Santa. You helped make this dream for a better Christmas for cancer kids possible and I know that Julia Cobb is smiling down and flapping her wings.
