Day 148: very tired tonight..did not sleep well last night for a few reason ..one being that someone w a dump truck took out a power pull in Mayerr so we had no power last night..then at 10:30 I got a call from Brunel that Pierre Claude was very sick again w a high fever and vomiting..so Brunel and I were calling back and forth till about 12 when his fever finally came down and he fell asleep...then I just really couldnt sleep bc I was afraid Brunel would try to call again and I wouldnt hear the phone...so I was up at 6..made breakfast and headed to the orphanage to get things ready for homework club and check on the kids..all the girls back in school today.. Pierre Claude still not well and 2 new case w David Joseph and Oscar...Today both the trucks decided to give us problems..the starter went out on the Jac and a injector went bad on the Ford..so Rosel and Marget were trying to get the parts to get them fixed...headed back to the orphanage for homework club..Momma Judy was feeling good enough today to teach her class ( we are so glad she is feeling better) and Amelia got to teach 2 English class which see really enjoyed...while the kids were all in Bible study tonight Rosel, Pascal and I worked on plans for the work that needs to b done on the school...we have about half the funds raised to do all the work..we will start the new kindergarten room on Monday..we need to put on 13 metal doors and close up doorways to separate each classroom to make the classrooms not have so much outside distractions, fix some windows, paint the inside, smooth finish and paint the outside, fix all the electric (in 2 of our classrooms it is so dark I dont know how the kids are seeing to do their work or read the board) the next team that comes down will b making cubbies for all the kids to keep their books in and cabinets in each room for the teachers to store their materials..we are trying to improve the learning environment to help the children learn...if u would like to help improve the school for the kids let me know...I ended the night by cooking fried bananas for dinner at the team house and then brought the boys home showers and bed...
