Day 15 Im thankful that the producers of Hoarders werent tipped off to what our extra rooms & bedroom closet looked like before we started organizing & cleaning them. Im certain they wouldve staged an intervention. However, if they actually CLEANED it while they were intervening, maybe I should ask someone to tip them off before I finish. Im down to 2 more rooms...the extra bedroom & the future pool room...the 2 worst rooms. Our bedroom closet was probably piled up worse than the pool room, but its not nearly as big. This is probably a 12x24 foot room, & Im not entirely sure it has ever been tackled. Im about halfway through it. Momma will probably be excited that I did it by myself until she finds out that we still have the extra bedroom to do. Im thankful that we do have all this junk to give away because it means we dont have to sell everything we own just to survive. Im thankful that I have these junky, disorganized rooms to complain about because it means I have a roof over my head. Im thankful that I can threaten to dismember Rob several times a day while Im doing all of this extremely late (or extremely early, according to whether youre a half full or half empty kind of person) spring cleaning because it means I have a partner with whom to share my life. I think Im most thankful, however, that this dreadful job is most of the way done so I can move on to the fun stuff like decorating the pool room & bathroom, making Christmas gifts & doing crafts...and Ill actually be organized enough to FIND the supplies to do my favorite stuff!!!
