Day 15: Thankful to be 45 pounds lighter than I was around this time last year. When I first found out about my iron problem I was devastated because I knew I would have to give up eating cookies, chips, and doughnuts for breakfast along with take out food, frozen pizzas, and nachos for lunch and dinner. Now I have switched to Go Lean Crisp Kashi cereal with Almond Milk for breakfast, a salad for lunch and dinner, and if Im in the mood for a snack, I go to the fridge and grab a Chobani non fat yogurt. Still having a problem with giving up sodas, Ill work on that one of these days, LOL. I can honestly say that Im thankful to have an iron deficiency because if it werent for that I would still be with my old eating habits. God always works in wonderful ways, Im thankful he turned this into a triumph! :)
