Day 155: Started out at the clinic to check her labs. Ellerie did okay with her accessing and was in a relatively okay mood after that. While we were waiting for the labs (the machine was down so they send it to the lab downstairs for a human eye review under the microscope), Lily our nurse went ahead and got her hooked up to fluids so we wouldnt lose time. Unfortunately right after her fluids started, we found out her counts were really low - at 40. That is the lowest we have seen, but because its neutrophils there are no symptoms. So this means we come in for chemo on the 24th next week. While we were waiting we got to go pick out a gift from this very generous couple and the local police department from Brookings, Or. Their daughter Katelyn passed from cancer in 2008 and they created Katelyns cause which was just to bring a smile to kids faces. Ellerie went straight for the Doc McStuffins kit - future doctor? #teamEllerie
