Day 16 #30daysofprayer #expectamiracle Change Most are afraid of change and resist it. Some even avoid change at all cost. However, no one is exempt from the force of change. Everything around us and about us are changing everyday. Change is inevitable and represents motion. Nothing stays the same. For example, the earth is in constant orbit and rotation. Due to weathering and natural erosion our landscape is constantly changing. We are one person in our teens and another person in our twentys; a whole different person in our 30s then 40s, 50s, 60s and so on. Gail Sheehy writes, If we dont change, we dont grow. If we dont grow we arent really living. So today, embrace change. God is actively shaping, molding, pruning and breaking us for us to become what he purposed us for. Dont fight the change it is for our good. There are some changes God leaves up to us to make. Take an inventory of yourself. Dont waste time or your life remaining stuck in a dead state. Make the change and start living again. Steve Jobs remarks, For the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today? And whenever the answer has been No for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something. Today be courageous to change your direction if in your heart you know you are going the wrong way. Change your heart if its feeling anything but love. Change your habits if they are doing you more bad than good. Change your lifestyle if it doesnt represent the life that you and God are proud of. Change your career if it doesnt fit your purpose. Change your health so you can live longer and stronger. Love yourself and embrace change, but whatever you do dont change your God for he is the only constant that should never change.
