Day #16...tonight Im thankful for all the many people faithful in packing shoeboxes for Samaritans Purse! I believe churches all over the country participate in this activity each year, making it possible for children in poor countries to have a shoebox full of little toys, books, etc, and a chance to know that Christians love them, and are praying for them.... Most of all, these kids get to know that Jesus loves them! Im thankful that so many kids receive gifts and so many people respond to this endeavor each November! Its hard for one person to help a multitude of children, but working together much can be done! I saw a video a few days ago that brought out the fact that many of these kids have NEVER had a gift before....NEVER had a toy! Even the poorest folks in our country are so blessed in comparison to the people in many countries! God bless these boxes and God bless the children who will receive them! I am thankful for everyone who filled a box!
