Day 17. Hosting is hard. Sometimes we forget these families are missionaries, and the children they serve come from very broken places. These are hurting children and sometimes that hurt comes out in very painful ways. Many families struggle with issues that feel overwhelming. Today please pray for these families; pray for the ones in the midst of a hard hosting who are still loving despite anger and rebuffs from the children. Pray that God would fill these host parents with wisdom, patience, and grace as they try to love and care for these children’s hearts.
