Day 172- 179 So emi wasnt feeling so hot wed evening... and that night/ Thursday morning she got worse. I barely slept, she kept crying, tossing, and turning, she got a really high fever as well. James as always does something to brighten my stressfull day/ night... around 2 / 3 am Emi got too fussy and way too hot so I woke James up for Tylenol, i asked him to go get me some, I was breast feeding. So James gets up goes to the bathroom comes back and goes back to bed... we keep the medicine downstairs... I start laughing my butt off. I wake him up once again to asking him for the Tylenol... I wake him up saying baby wake up you never went downstairs ... He mumbles I already went... I could not stop laughing he then wakes up asked whats going on and gets me the medicine... He must have been exhausted from work.. I love him he always puts a smile on my face :D well the Tylenol didnt even help it was just a miserable night. In the morning as soon as we woke up we packed up the car and left for the ER... on our way there emi got a 102.4 fever and wouldnt stop puking my poor princess I held her and tried my very best to console her... I called the hospital to let them know we where coming since she is a cancer patient we tend to get admitted as soon as we get there... I called the ononcology floor and the person who answered said you can call the emergency line... my response was Im in the car on my way I dont have the binder with me... she decided to repeat herself so I decided to do the same... I do not carry the binder with me, can you just let someone know... and she responded ok Ill just let nancy know... lol thankfully our nurse practitioner let every one know we where coming and emi got taken care of immediately... they are so awesome once we got here it went up to 102.8 and then Thursday night it went up to 104.0 its gone up and down but stays pretty steady at 102.Tylenol has been helping slightly but they cant give her Tylenol until her fever spikes again because they need to draw labs and they cant draw labs on a low grade fever... so emi has to sit here and be miserable just to wait until it gets high enough for you to draw labs before she can feel at ease that makes no since to me... your going to have a child that has been feeling crappy wait to take the same labs youve taken twice and have come back negative so obviouslyshe does not have a line infection... it just makes me angry... I know its not the nurses fault those are just the rules but some rules are just stupid completely dumb... (this just happened I had to rant ) going back to how she has progressed well we talked to the doctors earlier today they dont agree with my theory... shes just teething, Friday evening I realized after she bit me ( I breast feed and she almost never bites me) something was really wrong so I checked her mouth on a hunch and what would you know all her molars are coming in... two have cut in so far but all her back gums are extremely swollen... obviously her being a cancer patient it just kinda over takes everything and we forget that at times she is just a child, that is growing just like every other kid. They have tested for everything and everything has come back negative. Oh well... regardless of the reason they arent letting us go until shes atleast 24 hours with no fever... on a funny note on Friday Emi was having a miserable day it just plain sucked.. so I know how much she loves phones and talking I called the hospital, asked to get transfered to the oncology floor, then I asked to get transferred to room 556 and I called ourself so emi could pick up the phone call it was too funny shes way too cute!!! My Sweet Princess is way too cute!! Dad came right after work to be with us over the weekend and we snuggles all night lol emi gets so excited when she sees daddy :D Thank you everyone for all the prayers and support as soon as we know a bit more of what is going on Ill let everyone know.
