Day 175: It was a really nasty sleep, hot/cold flushes all night, sweats, waking up every 30minutes, cold air irritating my throat making me cough with a dry throat, etc... I was numb and so after 4hours of staring at the roof of my tent waiting for the rain to stop, I eventually forced myself to get up and pack and carry on before the rain started again. I came off the N22 and pretty much followed the river lee until it re-attached onto the N22. I was cold and wet and ill and I recovered quite a lot during the day but it was a struggle of a walk. I eventually came to my stop and asked someone if I could stay in his field, he said yes but it was wet, oh and the entrance was about half a mile back. Thanks but no! Carried on a further two miles and ended up at this other house and met some guys a few years younger than me and they invited me in for tea and let me stay in the field opposite. I set my tent up in the dark.
