Day #18 - Today, I am thankful for my house. I know that a house does not make a home, but after living in this house for more than 26 years it seems like part of the family. Our house has shared many, many good times with us. It has watched us bring home both of our babies from the hospital, watched both of them grow up, graduate from high school and go off to college. It has watched one of them graduate from college and get married. It has welcomed baby Jordan into our lives as well. It has also shared some bad times with us. It has watched me mourn for the loss of my father and every single one of my grandparents. It has watched Dean mourn the loss of his Grandpa Slater. Yes, I know a house does not make a home, but if/when we should ever decide to leave it, it will be like losing a member of the family. I am so thankful that God has provided this house for our family to grow in and to share our lives together.
