Day 18 Friday Ok, just in case you are wondering, the days are numbered and named so that we can keep track of them more than you lot. It is a bit like "Today is Tuesday so this must be Belgium" for those old enough to remember. If not, bad luck, because we oldies do. After cruising overnight, and enjoying another buffet breakfast, we dock in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, just in time to have a buffet lunch. We head off for a tour of the local sights. I should mention the tours are well organised, we have colour coded receivers for each group and local guides, a bus for each group and the options mentioned in a previous post regarding the pace. The guide for this particular tour is great, a wicked sense of humour and quite entertaining. Each day we something new to say "wow", the sights are sensational. Yes, more churches bringing my sainthood ever closer, but still amazing. Back on board for another four course meal. There is some "on board" entertainment but we opt to kick back in the room and watch "Dark Shadows" (gee, is that a weird movie or what) with an intermission when we stroll to the Club Lounge for coffee and bickies (available 24/7). A relaxing finish after another stressful day, but we did manage to struggle through.
