Day(18) after transplant......getting ready! We will be leaving the hospital Thursday afternoon if all goes as planned. Tomorrow I will spend time at the Kiwanis House and vacuum our room, wash the bedding, and clean the bathroom. We plan on spending one week there. I will be making our meals using the strict non microbial diet Shelly will be on. We will meet with one of the hospitals pharmacists to discuss all of Shellys medications. I remember when we brought Aaron (our oldest boy) home from the hospital. I was a little nervous. I asked Shelly, What are we going to do now? She said, Love him and take care of him. I will probably ask myself the same question when Shelly gets released from the hospital..... What am I going to do now? I will just have to love and take care of her.
