Day 19 / song 19 is Angels from the Realms of Glory, written by Scottish poet James Montgomery, and first printed on Christmas Eve 1816 in the newspaper he managed.. Montgomerys parents were missionaries who left him at age 5 with family to serve in the West Indies and died there a few years later.
