Day #2 DETOXERS! This post includes a cute educational 3 minute video about sugar and another delicious detox recipe! We are going STRONG!!! Rutabaga Squash Bake Peel and slice 1 rutabaga, 2 zucchini squash 1 yellow squash to about ½ inch thick slices. (I like to cut the squash lengthwise for bigger pieces). Spray with Pam and put on a cookie sheet. Broil until slightly charred. Mix Sauce: -1 can crushed tomatoes -3 cloves garlic crushed -1 tsp oregano -Dash cayenne pepper (opt) Put some sauce in the bottom of a casserole dish. Layer the charred veggies, 1 small box of mushrooms (cut up or whole), ½ green pepper sliced, ¼ purple onion sliced, sliced jalapeño pepper (opt.). Pour the rest of the sauce over the top. Bake at 350 for one hour. Top with chopped green olives to serve.
