Day 2: I am thankful for visits/ time shared...as I looked around that cook shed last night and thought about all those peoples lives that somehow in twine in ours, I couldnt help but smile... It seems there is always someone new that we embrace into our small, but wonderful peace of heaven here on earth. It is all about the visit... Think about the old days when there were no cars, and on Sunday afternoon people would hitch the horses up and take the family down the road and go visit.. The men would talk about what they were going to plant on the back forty, while the women talked about how many jars of vegetables they had put up ( poor souls)...as they watched their children play hop scotch( oh Janet how I loved that game) or throw a ball around. They were not in the house playing video games or watching TV...There is no greater gift in life you can give someone than your time...and we dont even have to hitch a horse up, we have cars that will take us for THAT visit!!!
