Day 2: Today I am grateful to: The green quietness of the forest along the Ridgeway. Our brains for storing all those images. How do they do that? How can I think of a ship, or a spinning ball, or our old cat Beastie poddling in the Sun, and the moving image flares up. How does our brain remember and store movement? Ask us to think of a green ball and our brains create loads in quick succession, all with different qualities. How can our minds do that? What makes dust and dirt (such as we are) dream? Last nights starry night on a 1am dog walk. There is something comforting to me about being able to think of us all cocooned away in all that time and space. Dad slowly healing from the Radiotherapy. It still hurts, and I hope his sense of taste gets back to normal, but Im hoping that every day, the pain is less and less. I am very grateful to the people who propagated Brocolli. Lovely vegetable and pasta substitute.
