Day 2 at st Clares hospice Feeling more comfortable on day two : realising how good rest is for me : the more Im here. The more I see!!! Spent a lot of yesterday : staying up : keeping myself busy. So I can sleep better in the evening!!! It worked. Went to bed about 6pm: watched some TV !!! Slept. Quite well!!! Woke up again at 10:48: asked for a cuppa. And some toast : thinking of my family and friends : thinking show much I love them all!!! Loved the nurses on duty last night: Feeling strong(er); brave(er) and bright(er)!!! Do t know how. Much longer I will stay : but rest and recovery is surely the way: a decision will be made in a family meeting today!!! Mama bear and papa bear have both popped in : hope they are resting and learning as much as me!!! Its now 23:12: I need to get back to sleep: surely I should wait. For the morning for tea and toast ?!?!?!: how demanding and selfish of me?!?!?! But.... As usual I am hungry!!! Food here is really good : can choose what I want for breakfast , dinner and lunch : Dinner. Comes with vodka and coke !!! Slept again : its 06:34 : lots of things. To look forward to today : lots of visitors : maybe a shower?!?!
