Day 2 at the PGA was equally exciting. Saw a lot of big names - TopicsExpress

Day 2 at the PGA was equally exciting. Saw a lot of big names today. Lee Westwood (very polite), Jim Furyk (also very polite, almost shy), Vijay Singh (dont ask). Saw Rory from a bit more distance as I had been moved to fairway rope duty when he came through. (several people coming through said interactions with Rory had been less than friendly and he was snooty. I figure if youre on a 3-tournament winning streak, youve earned the right to be a little snooty LOL). If you wanted to find him on the course, all you had to do was look for the HUGE crowd following him. The buzz around the course yesterday was Tigers caddy being there & walking the whole course, recording yardages, plotting greens, etc. While he is still not on the list of players, his reps have been in touch with the PGA about an entry extension, so the possibility, tiny though it may be, exists that Tiger will play after all. We shall see.... I really enjoy the work, but I am REALLY looking forward to tomorrow when Cherie Stivers and I are going just as FANS. By the way, if you plan on going to the tournament and you get hungry, I highly recommend NOT getting either the ham & cheese sub, nor the turkey & cheese sub (see pic). For $8, the Hot Link is your best bet. Unless youre excited about paying $3.50 for an individual-sized bag of chips, Id just go with the link. LOL Glad I have meal vouchers. A sandwich, chips & soft drink comes to about $15.
