Day 2 of 125 Days of Prayer My WMU story began 83 years ago. My mother was WMU Director when she became pregnant with me. We walked to “circle meetings” at member’s homes and I played in the yard with other children. I became a Sunbeam, then as a GA I was exposed to some strong missions folks. I attended house parties at Carson-Newman College and Gatlinburg. I worked on “Forward Steps”. I have had a variety of WMU responsibilities in the church and association. My husband, Clarence, and I went to Kenya as missionary associates and benefitted from prayer support of WMU. My story hasn’t ended!
