Day 2 of 8 of official Industrial action in England and Wales - TopicsExpress

Day 2 of 8 of official Industrial action in England and Wales drawing to an end. Start of day 3. Official lawful industrial action so far - 6 hours. Bucks crews effectively locked out and unpaid for 48 hours. Bucks crews financially punished by Acting CFO @Jason_Thelwell and CFO @MarkJon1961 for an additional 42 hours in the first 48 hour period. Fire cover needlessly and severely reduced for an additional 21 hours a day for 8 days. More than 90% of Bucks Pumps unavailable in the first 2 days of Industrial action. @BucksFBU members only firefighters in England and Wales to be treated this way by its employers Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue. Please feel free to email or tweet @Bucksfire a complaint about the lack of fire cover if you have family or friends who live, work or travel through Buckinghamshire or Milton Keynes. Senior Managers and the Fire Authority need to be made fully aware that this is a decision that is not supported by the public, and is in fact actively working against what is in the public interest. The Authority has a complaints procedure specifically so that the public can raise a grievance over a decision or action taken by the Authority or any representative/employee of the Fire Service. Unfortunately the complaints form does not yet seem to have been transferred onto the new website. However the policy dictates that complaints can be sent to the following email address: [email protected] A complaint does not need to be long and can consist of only a couple of sentences. They must be genuine put forward in good faith and represent the views of the individual. YIU
