It stops you from doing things for others that they should be do for themselves. A boundary also prevents you from rescuing someone from the consequences of their destructive behavior that they need to experience in order to grow. Creating boundaries can be difficult especially for the people you love 👫. But when enoughs enough, you realize that its causing more problems than actually helping. We cant always live or experience things for people. We cant take away the pain or anger that someone is feeling. We can only do so much, but there comes a time when tough love has to be put into place. 🔐 As a friend or a family member all we can do is hold them accountable, be honest, and supportive, but we cant save them 🚑🏥 or they will never learn. 2014 I placed boundaries with people and myself. In the end, I had to honor those boundaries and eliminate people who were not respectful 👎 with the boundaries I have set. Some are no longer in my life and others we have came to a mutual agreement and we are still friends. People come and go, but its always for a reason, lesson, or experience, but its NEVER regret or hate if they leave 🐾
