Day 2 of Write Every Damn Day. This is the spirit of support Id like to see coming from everyone in this group. Actions speaking loudly in unison with words. I dont want to tell anyone what they should or should not do in their writing practice—and, if I DO slip and fall into that role in any of my posts, Im counting on a fellow member to call me on it and set me straight. I dont want to be Yoda, using a stick to smack around Jedi-Knights-in-training while they levitate stuff while doing a handstand. Corporal punishment is the worst teaching tool ever and so is incorporeal punishment, meted out by that meddling ghost of opinion. For me, establishing a regular writing practice should be just about that—no need to radically change every other aspect of my life, to give up doing this or that. I dont need to renovate my entire nervous system. I just need to write.
