Day 2 of my OneMind Dogs seminar in Hawaii is complete. It was a HOT one today - both the weather & the handlers on the field. Today was all about putting the techniques in to some short sequences and being able to execute them properly AT SPEED :P - I was very impressed with everyones learning curve. The beauty of teaching a handling methodology that has mostly natural cues for the dogs is that we see immediate results! We finished the day with a session on contact training (running & stop) and how to cue obstacle discrimination on course. Now Im relaxing with a glass of wine about to enjoy a lovely dinner with my new friend & host Susan Gordon :) At some point - I have to scrub my feet clean. LOL
