Day 2 of my Thankful List: 1. My mom, Stella Niemeier, who is always there when needed (for everyone!) She has never-ending patience, will help everyone in any way she can, and is an example of a huge giving heart! 2. My sisters - Rhonda Niemeier Henke and Julie Biro - we are all so different, but yet so alike. (Hint - DO NOT make any of us mad to the point of crying cause then all hell breaks loose.) They constantly demonstrate perseverance, determination, and appreciation. 3. My girlfriends who have been there through the years. Theres a saying that true friends can pick up where they left off a long time ago and not miss a beat. Well, thats absolutely true, and FB allows me to stay in touch even more! You know who you are cuz I really cant write my book here. :( Theres also the which 11 people would you have at your table thingie so Im going with that idea: 1. Laura Niemeier Glazier - cuz and lifetime friend...and youll always be older than me! :) 2. Jennifer Hunter-Erwin with the Pacer car circa 1981-2 and my high school Salisbury/Chicago-now-Dallas friend 3. Katie Dwyer Wibbenmeyer - circa 1983 - ah, Sigma Nu Little Sister cohort in crime (and thats as much as anyone needs to know) 4. Linda Reed -1985 - stepped into the IRS world at the same time as me and continues to rock the world and be my friend. She is ALWAYS laughing! 5. Eileen Goverman - circa 2000ish - who pulled a 12+ hour day (and many more long ones) with me in support of over-achievers everywhere. 6. and 7. Becca Hunzicker Istas and Jane Forester - who were employees and then peers and taught me that I didnt have to be everything to everyone. They are still working on that one! Also, that the world has enough commas - and Becca you dont need to go anywhere with that one! 8. Cheryl L Fritts- My friend since about 1989 who was later a boss and now back to being my friend and always a mentor. We are alike in SO MANY ways including both having three daughters. C is more my third sister than just a friend. We just get each other. 9. Nancy Hansen Burcham - my book buddy - we are seriously demented sometimes. 10. Mary Goulding - one of my really great sister-in-laws. We dont see each other or talk a lot, but she makes me laugh in person and through email. One day Im going to grow up to be just like her! 11. (Im cheating here) And my others who are too numerous to mention, but have had a huge impact on my life! (insert music here) thank you for being a friend, la la, la.OK - I REALLY have to stop now.
