Day 2 of our General Assembly: December 3, 2013 The first part of the morning was devoted to the review of the regulation of the Assembly, followed by the election of the election moderators, secretary and members of the central committee for the assembly. Graciela Magaña and Lety Guerra were elected moderators by a relative majority in the first ballot, and Cristina Danel as secretary by absolute majority. The central committee is a subset of the Assembly consisting of the President (Papal Delegate or his council member, Fr. Agostino Montan in his absence), the current general director for the consecrated women, the assembly’s secretary, and three of the delegates elected by absolute majority. In the first ballot for the election of three members, no consecrated woman obtained an absolute majority. In a second round, Viviana Lemon, Africa Pemán and Nancy Nohrden were elected. Throughout the day, the participants shared and exchanged ideas and proposals in an atmosphere of responsible work, openness and listening. There were very rich contributions regarding our purpose and mission as part of the spiritual family of Regnum Christi and how it can be expressed in the writing of the different numbers of the Statutes.
