Day 2 of the 30/30 challenge. Started with numbers 6:24-26- May God bless you and keep you, May God smile on you and gift you, God look you full in the face and make you prosper. Blessings to everyone today, especially those going back to school or starting a new school. Then Romans 2:1-2 Every time you criticize someone, you condemn yourself. It takes one to know one. I am always struggling with judging others, especially if they dont behave how I expect them to. I try to remember that we are judged by what we do and what is in our hearts. It is no good carrying the bible, wearing the cross, talking the talk if your heart is hardened to the needs of others or if you have no compassion in your heart for those who stumble. We all stumble in life, maybe over different obstacles and potholes but stumble and fail and sit down in despair is part of the human condition. That is why we give it up to God for help, support and grace to carry one. Then my bible kept falling open at this; Revelation 22: 12-13 Look I am coming soon, bringing my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds. I am the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. We are judged by our deeds. A joyful and compassionate heart Lord, please grant me.
