Day 2 of the Happy Dog photo challenge brings us to bloodhound #2, and my first puppy, Quiet Creeks Chile Ancho, MTI, Can MT, Chile. My first SAR partner (second if you count my horse... ;) ). He was an amazing working dog. We picked him up on a Thursday from southern California (Susan still let me have him after Biskit had gone wading in her fountain!) and Friday morning drove to Prescott, AZ for his first SAR conference. He ran his first runaway that day and did his first hot load on a helicopter at 8 weeks and 1 day old.He taught me so much. He was unshakable. Miss that guy every single day.
