Day 2, year 14. Sounds weird I know. Fourteen years ago is when Alzheimers temporarily took over my dads body and mind (not his soul) and he has been bedridden ever since with very little communication. He has been in a nursing home for 12 years this past May. Yesterday...well my post is on fb. Today, day 2 we met with HOSPICE and everything is now in place to make sure dad is 100% comfortable. Mom, Marlene, C.J., Haley, Chris and myself was up there a good while with him and the HOSPICE folks...who were great. He has had no food or fluids since Thursday, is not responsive and is running a fever. We are just praying for peace, comfort and Gods will. For in every situation God has a plan in place.
