Day 20 Update- Sam Young Better day.. Sam ate a little better.. hes trying. They gave him a nourishment shake, that I made him drink. I offered up 10 cheetoes and he gobbled them up. He feels better today, still pretty intense pain, but he did well in therapy. He is coming along really well as far as clarity and mental functions. He seems to have less scrambled conversations, and remembers things from the previous days. This is all very welcome! I can rest easier knowing that he can answer for himself and use a little more reason. Tomorrow is 3 weeks.. seems like forever.. yet not. I have an overwhelming feeling of gratitude that Sam was spared and I have him here to spoil a bit. Home early (10) and getting some chores done. My houseplants were about to go on strike.. glad they stuck it out. Fish tank needs attention, but that will hold til Sat.. the fishies can keep slumming in less than perfect conditions for a couple more days. Bout to get Sams laundry into the dryer, turn off the water on the rose bushes and have a rendezvous with my dark cold room and fluffy pillow. Prayers for all of you who have given us strength these last few weeks.
