Day 21 of war has been hard. Following President Obamas demand for a cease fire Israel stopped attacking terrorists, responding only to fire that continued from Hamas. This evening the emboldened terrorists went on the offensive. A bomb fired towards a village on Gaza border killed 4 civilians and injured 6 more. Some are still fighting for their lives. It is important to say that when Israel targets civilian areas flyers are dropped and phone calls made to civilians warning of the attack. Hamas bombed Israel with no warning and because the bomb fired came from a close range there was not even time for a warning alert. Also tonight Hamas fired rockets targeting Israels northern coast areas - almost as far as Haifa. And if that wasnt enough, five Gaza terrorists emerged in Israels territory trying to commit a terror act against Israeli civilians. According to the reports 5 terrorists were killed. All evening Red Alert sirens are sounding in Israels south and some 20 minutes ago sirens sounded close to Israels northern border as missiles were fired from Lebanon into Israel. Following these events the IDF resumed fire in Gaza. Benjamin Netanyahu spoke 45 minutes ago to the nation, stressing that this can be a lengthy operation and that the international community should finally get a clue about what we are doing here - trying to protect our people and our land. However long this war continues, please pray for us, our soldiers, our leaders... Pray for the international community to realize that this is a just war as far as Israel is concerned. Pray against pressure for a cease fire and for courage for our leaders to continue Operation Protective Edge. Thank you for standing with Israel.
